We hunt these iridescent feathered jewels in the State of Campeche at the Southern tip of the Gulf of Mexico! On this hunt you will encounter many Ocellated turkeys in a jungle forest setting that is truly unique! Our Outfitter is without a doubt the highest success rate operator for this hunt and our turkey camp is second to none - from the open bar to your bedroom complete with AC, they have turned this hunt into a comfortable one and have raised the success rate on this hunt tremendously!
WHAT IT COSTS: $4,500 USD.
WHERE WE HUNT: In our Jungle Turkey Camp in the State of Campeche, right on the Southern tip of the Gulf of Mexico where the jungle forest gives way to the deep jungle and where the Mayans used to hunt 2,000 years ago!
WHEN DO WE HUNT: Early February - Early April.
WHAT IT INCLUDES: 4 Day hunt, 1 Ocellated Turkey tom, 1 x 1 guiding, a comfortable bed during your hunt - with AC and full working bathroom - in a very cool jungle camp, 3 meals a day (you will not go hungry!), soft drinks and bottled water, open bar, trophy bird prep, mexico hunting license, 1 turkey tag, CITES permit and export documents, transportation from and to the airport in “Merida, Yucatan”, field care of your bird, use of camp guns and ammo, loads of fun!
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED: Tips and gratuities, expenses before and after hunt, non-hunter guest ($1,500 USD per person), additional hunting day ($350 USD per day), Merida, Yucatan airport pick up and return ($350 USD per person), unscheduled trips ($350 USD per person), additional ammo ($60 USD per box), trophy bird export ($440 USD plus shipping).
